Ontario Secondary School Diploma
WHAT IS THE ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA (OSSD)?
The Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum is consistently evaluated as one of the top 5 education systems in the world by the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), a triennial international study that evaluates education systems worldwide, from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The OSSD is an internationally recognized secondary school qualification, from the Ontario Ministry of Education in Canada.
It is one of the North-American equivalents of the A Level
Like A Level (National Curriculum, Edexcel or Cambridge), OSSD is accepted by most international universities as an entry qualification to year 1 of an under graduate program.
